What’s Next In My Yoga Journey?

What's Next in My Yoga Journey

Now that my yoga teacher training journey has come to an end, I wanted to take a moment to talk about what’s next for this blog and my yoga journey. This is really more of a short, housekeeping type of post. It’s just a way for me to let my readers know where I am and where I plan to take this.

What’s Next for My Yoga Journey?

Well, I’ve finished teacher training and turned in my final exam. I’ve purchased my liability insurance, and I’m waiting on my certificate. In terms of teaching, I’ll be leading the core strength yoga class at Main Street Yoga on Monday’s at 5:45 p.m. If you’re in Fairmont and looking for a class, come check it out. I’m going to stick with this one class every week for the time being, but I’m not ruling out expanding in the future.

Additionally, I’m looking forward to continuing my own yoga education in the future. Heidi definitely emphasized to us that our 200-hour training is just the beginning. There’s so much to see and do and learn, and I’m looking forward to diving ever deeper into this journey. I’m planning to try to get to Wanderlust as Snowshoe in 2018. It’s a great opportunity to experience new classes, new teachers, and expand my horizons.

What’s Next for the Blog?

As for the blog, I’m still planning to post. I may not post every week like I have been during my training, but that remains to be seen. It may be that I find I still have a great deal to say as I start teaching every week.

I can tell you that from my training, I developed keen interests in yogic philosophy and Ayurveda. It’s a pretty safe bet that those are two areas I will continue to explore in my yoga journey, and that those topics will make continued appearances here.

Journey With Me

I have really enjoyed bringing you all along for my teacher training. I really hope that you will continue to stick with me through the next phases of my yoga journey. So many new and exciting opportunities are ahead, and I look forward to bringing you all with me.

Namaste.
